President Muhammadu Buhari sworn in the 36 ministers

The swearing in ceremony took place on Wednesday, November 11, at the Presidential villa, Abuja. The 36 ministers that took oath of office are –

  1.  Rotimi Amaechi (Minister of Transportation), 
  2. Chris Ngige (Minister of Labour and Employment),
  3.  Kayode Fayemi (Minister of Solid Minerals),
  4.  Babatunde Fashola (Minister of Power, Works and Housing) 
  5. Abdulrahman Dambazau (Minister of Interior).
  6. Aisha Alhassan (Minister of Women Affairs),
  7.  Ogbonnaya Onu (Minister of Science and Technology),
  8.  Kemi Adeosun (Minister of Finance), 
  9. Abubakar Malami (Minister of Justice), 
  10. Hadi Sirika (Minister of State, Aviation), 
  11. Suleiman Adamu (Minister of Water Resources), 
  12. Solomon Dalong (Minister of Youths and Sports), 
  13. Ibe Kachikwu (Minister of State, Petroleum).
  14. Osagie Ehanire (Minister of State, Health), 
  15. Audu Ogbeh (Minister of Agriculture),
  16.  Udo Udo Udoma (Minister of Budget and National Planning),

while the president head the Petroleum Resources Ministry.

President Buhari in his address said “.Our new ministers must proceed to work speedily and do their utmost to justify the confidence we have placed in them not only by their conduct but also by their performance in their various positions.”
Stressing that his government is transparent,that the Treasury Single Account introduced by the government is now making more money available for government business.
